They really went above and beyond for us. We arrived very late and were picked up at the airport, then they took us back for our 6:30 departure. Oom Frikkie was a sweetheart and literally saved our lives at the airport. We’ll definitely come back to Upington. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating, some of the finest people. Our spacious bathroom had everything we needed, and they’d added an electric blanket, mosquito repellent and rusks for our coffee. The facilities were extremely clean and tidy, and the landscaping was so lovely we wanted to spend time outside.

The breakfast was generous and lovely, and the rooms had loads of space with everything we needed for a great stay. Such a nice setting, too, with a really friendly and helpful host.

After a long day on the road to Namibia, we were welcomed by such a friendly host. The room was cool and ready for us, and there was a peaceful little place to relax beneath the grape vine. Of everywhere we stayed on that holiday, Frikkie’s was the clear standout. Thanks, Frikkie.

Frikkie was so welcoming and flexible, and the room was clean, neat and full of thoughtful details. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. When we’re in Upington, this will be our first choice.

We really appreciated the privacy and comfort, and the care put into the details. Everything in the room worked properly and was placed conveniently, which was a nice change. It was a lovely surprise to find this gem in Upington. Thanks, Frikkie, for being patient while we changed our dates back and forth a few times. We wish you all the best with your plans to expand Upington Accommodation Affair. We know we’ll have a home in Upington whenever we pass through again.
