Melissa was a wonderful host. She even helped untangle the booking mess caused by Agoda. This is a charming, pet-friendly guesthouse and a handy stop on a long drive. We were glad to stay here overnight on our return trip. The place is very clean and well looked after, with loadshedding lights, an effective air conditioner, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, and good WiFi.

There were lots of ants and cockroaches, and the beds weren’t comfortable.

Nobody was there to greet us when we arrived. The bedding was clean, but the pillows were awful to sleep on. The room did have air conditioning, a TV, and Wi-Fi. The gate has to be opened by hand and secured with a lock.

I feel lucky and grateful to have found a guesthouse in The Northern Cape that I can return to each time. It’s exactly the kind of home away from home I needed, with warm, friendly staff and a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere.
