My family stayed here again on 28 December, and it remains our first choice in town. The place is clean and well kept, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. When my wife accidentally left her jewellery behind, the team handled it honestly and professionally, then couriered it to Gauteng within three days. Well done, Werda. I'd confidently recommend it anytime, and the team should keep up the good work.

We've stayed at Werda Guesthouse with our group every year for the past 4 years, and it keeps growing and improving. The houses are on the main street near the mall, with room for our busses and trailers and to unload all our rafting gear. They can fit different groups too, from a house for my students to a private room for a couple with a baby or rooms for solo travelers. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have what you need. Service has been amazing from our first messages right through checkout. We'll be back next year :)

The customer service was good, and for the price the room seemed decent. But being right by a busy road meant I couldn't sleep. The central aircon also wasn't working after load shedding ended, and there were cockroaches on the beds. One even crawled onto my leg while I was trying to sleep. No thanks, I wouldn't come back.
