The corridors always smell fresh, and I've had great neighbors here. As an owner at Oxford Residence 1, I'm very happy with the place. The pool has a nice atmosphere, and there's plenty of natural light. The building is not brand new, but it's maintained well. The construction quality is excellent, and the security, maintenance staff, and management are all polite, friendly, and responsive. Nothing to complain about.

The security guards are the one reason this gets even one star. The construction materials leave the building with no soundproofing at all. Even the front patio doors barely block noise. The AC is awful and can't handle Dubai's heat, and the maintenance team is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

The management doesn't care about tenants, and the building work is terrible. I've seen gas and water leaks, cracked walls, no AC, facilities that don't work, and gaps around the windows. Kitchens are tiny, with cheap appliances, no dishwasher, and no option for an electric cooker or oven, so you're stuck paying into their gas monopoly. It's noisy, too: labourers keep hammering away trying to fix things and seem to make them worse. One of the worst developers. Choose someone reputable and don't waste your money here.

I lived in this building for two years, and the AC in my flat kept having problems. Maintenance charged me a lot but didn't fix it. The manager needs to learn customer service; I don't know why he was given the job. I also formally complained by email about an African security guard being rude, but nothing came of it. He doesn't open the door or greet me when I pass, is always on his phone, and acts like he's my boss. I raised it with Osama too, and got nothing, nada. These people shouldn't be working during a crisis; they need another job or training in how to deal with people. The guard's attitude made things worse. Don't live here.
