La Vie Suite Madero

I found the apartments very disappointing. The walls were scratched, the floor was sticky, and the place felt bare and unwelcoming. There was no soundproofing in the windows, and the kitchen had only a stained water cooker. After booking, they quickly charged my card, then asked me to send selfies and passport copies through unsecured email or messages. It felt like an absolute scam and was extremely overpriced. Don't book here.

The rooms were huge, and the place was beautiful, with a pretty good view and a great bathroom. The small kitchen had a microwave, fridge, and silverware, which was handy, but there was no water. It might help if they mentioned that in the description, although there's a store right next door, so it wasn't a big deal. The staff greeted us politely and took care of most of what we needed. I loved the stay and hope to return.

The apartment reeked as if someone had just smoked there. Even with the windows open, we couldn't sleep because the bed and sheets smelled awful. We messaged the owner to ask if we could switch rooms, but nobody bothered replying. The bathroom towels were also covered in dirt spots. Terrible experience. Save your money and rent somewhere else.

I stayed three nights on my own for work. The location was great and felt super safe, the staff were nice, and my room was huge with a very comfortable bathroom. It could have been scrubbed and cleaned better, though. By the trash can, the wall had what looked like coffee splatter from a previous guest, I assume.
