The key pickup was easy with a lockbox, which made arriving late at night simple. It’s basic accommodation, but clean and very nice, with a small kitchen for cooking. One of the kitchen implements stopped working on our second day. I messaged the owner, and they came right over with a replacement. Great experience for the price in a very busy town. Yes, I’d recommend it.

I had a reservation, but nobody was at the accommodation when I got there at 4 pm. I called twice with no answer, then messaged through booking. They replied an hour later, saying they’d arrive at 6 pm. There wasn’t even an apology. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially in high season when demand in the city is so high and you could be left without a place to stay. Lousy.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the place is still near the main streets even though it isn’t right in the center. It’s a good option in Calafate. But the water was never hot, from the shower or any of the other taps, which matters at this price. The towels also smelled bad.

The bedding and towels were in really poor shape, very worn and honestly depressing. Hygiene left a lot to be desired, and they should check it before renting the apartment. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
