Cabañas Austral

Plenty of room to unwind after a hike in these lovely cabañas, right beside the main street. Great value for money.

The cabin and service were exquisite, and the place was delightful. The attention to detail and all the small but useful appliances made our stay feel as blissful as hot tea in the middle of winter. The sanitation standard was so high that we're not used to it. Thank you, Cabañas Austral, from the bottom of our hearts.

The staff were nice, the location was decent, and having a full kitchen right next to the supermarket was really convenient. The loft bedroom upstairs was roomy, maybe more space than you need for a bedroom, and the place works well for sleeping and preparing food. Downstairs, though, there's only a tiny dining spot and a little kitchen, with the bathroom carved out of the same small space. There's no sofa or real seating area, so none of it felt inviting for eating in or relaxing. The cabin isn't very spacious overall. The Wi-Fi was bad, with the signal dropping in and out every few seconds. It was enough to tease but not enough to get much done. I know I'm mostly here for nature, and given the often disappointing or nonexistent Wi-Fi around here, maybe no Wi-Fi would have been better. The kitchen things weren't clean either. I understand dishwashing isn't part of daily room service, but cupboards, dishes, and other kitchen things should be cleaned between guests. Some items looked stained and unsanitary, and I had to scrub them before using them. The towels were old and a bit stained, too.

Claudia was attentive and very helpful, and her service was outstanding. Cabin number 1 was new and had everything we needed. It wasn't large, but it was perfect for two. The grounds include a beautiful park, parking, grills, and a playground. The Wi-Fi worked quite well, and the TV had service. The shower was just right, warm and refreshing. We had an excellent stay. Cabañas Austral is definitely worth recommending. Thank you, Claudia!
