The staff were the best part of this hostel. Lisandro was especially helpful, advising me on when to do each hike since the weather is hard to predict and timing matters for those amazing mountain views. The common areas and Wi-Fi were useful while I worked on my computer, and staff kept the kitchen clean. It was fine for preparing meals. For the price, I thought it was good value. I stayed eight nights and had a good experience. The room was clean, and the beds were okay, though I'd maybe bring my own pillow. It's downtown, which is handy for trails, food, and groceries, though El Chalten is a very small town. I'd recommend it to solo travelers, since I met a lot of cool people there.
