The atmosphere was a big part of why I liked this hostel: it’s quiet at night and great for resting after a long hike, but still social if you want to meet people. The rooms were super clean, the beds comfortable, and the location and value were both great. Staff were friendly, helpful, and happy to share tips about the area, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. Honestly, this is the best hostel I’ve stayed at so far. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

Getting to the bathroom from our room was a ridiculously long walk, and the bathroom situation was awful. The men’s toilet was the only one for the whole hostel, one toilet was already out of order when I reported it on our first day, and it was never fixed. The door on the remaining toilet didn’t lock, which made it uncomfortable both to use it and to risk walking in on someone. The room itself was okay, but the showers were cold, had barely any pressure, and the showerheads didn’t work properly. I always came out shivering. The kitchen was passable, though without cloths or towels it got dirty quickly. They charged a fortune for a dorm bed, then refused to exempt us from the tax, saying Booking.com had confirmed the price with tax included. I checked with Booking.com, and they said the hostel was responsible for exempting us. Another place trying to make unfair money from tourists.

The location is fantastic, just a few steps from the start of the hiking trail. I stayed four nights in a four-person room. It was very basic, and the bunk beds creaked a lot, but I slept well. Laundry and luggage storage after checkout cost quite a bit compared with other hostels.

We booked two nights at reception, but when we arrived exhausted after the trek, someone else was in our beds and we had to find another hostel. Nobody explained anything or even apologized. Shame.

The host family were so welcoming, and the service was great. Our room was cozy and clean, with a really comfortable bed, and the bathrooms were clean too and had a hairdryer. It’s about a five-minute walk to the supermarket and close to the hiking trails. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it ✨
