Hotel Bologna

This is a modest hotel, so don't expect luxury. The breakfast isn't gourmet, but it tastes good and has a decent variety: tea, croissants, toast, and yogurt with granola. The rooms are comfortable and nice, the location is fantastic for the affordable price, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Joel was especially accommodating. There are some shortcomings: the Wi-Fi wasn't working well, and there was no fan or air conditioning. That's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. Still, the service more than made up for those things. If I'm back in Mar del Plata, I'll definitely stay here again.

The price was really low, and the location is great, just steps from downtown Mar del Plata. We stayed two days. Breakfast was limited, but that was okay. The hotel did have a few issues that seemed likely to come from poor maintenance. If you want more comfort and amenities, you may want to look elsewhere.

I'm having a spectacular time here, and the location is excellent. Joel and the other guy are so sweet, and the breakfast girls are angels. They made me feel right at home. It's a lovely place, beautiful all around, so don't believe the bad things people say online. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart. Bety is such a sweetheart too. We were three adults, a couple and a cousin, and found the rooms cool and comfortable. The elevator is a good size, and there's parking. The hotel could use a facelift, but the rates are very reasonable. It's three blocks from Punta Iglesia beach and two from the main street, San Martin. Joel at the front desk made us feel welcome and helped with what we needed. The staff were all polite and friendly, the rooms were cleaned excellently each morning, and breakfast was very good for this category of hotel. Don't miss it!
