We had such a relaxing break from the city at Gsenghof Alm. Tucked into nature, the cozy accommodation had breathtaking views all around. Maria was warm and welcoming, and she made us amazing food. We also got to meet Maja, the cutest dog, who loved belly rubs and playing fetch.

Getting off the paved road had us almost thinking we'd taken a wrong turn, but those gravel tracks led to a magical place. What a wonderful find.

We especially loved the unforgettable New Year's Eve, with traditional live music and a wonderfully cozy feel. The other guests were pleasant, too. Gsängenhof in Filzmoos is peaceful and beautifully situated, with plenty of parking. The owners were so kind and accommodating that we felt welcome right away. It's a lovely place to unwind, and we'd love to return.
