Even in the rain, this place feels like a little miracle and is perfect for relaxing. Our hosts were among the kindest people I’ve ever met. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and clean, with a great mountain view. Breakfast was lovely, with delicious homemade jams. This was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. We highly recommend the house and the area. 💯🙏😊

The mountain views are lovely, and it’s quiet here. The room was cozy, though nothing too fancy. I really enjoyed my stay: the host family were delightful, and breakfast was delicious.

The hosts were lovely, and I hope they get many more happy years running the place. We had breakfast with them and Laika, and they spoke English very well. The spread was always great: different meats and cheeses, vegetables, boiled eggs, white and brown bread, jam, cereal, and something sweet like kuchen, pastries, or breakfast cake. We stayed for four wonderful days in early May, between the winter and summer seasons. It was peaceful and quiet, though I doubt it would be much different at other times. We slept like babies and never heard any noise, even with the road to Gousersee nearby. The house is near the end of the valley, and some rooms, including ours, look straight over a field toward Dachstein. The traditional rooms and hotel have older decor, but everything is kept in remarkably good shape. We may have been the only guests then. We drove to hike in farther places, but plenty of walking and biking trails start in the valley, making it a perfect spot to explore the area.

The hosts were so welcoming, and they joined us for breakfast with their dog and shared stories. She explained things in a way I could understand, since she spoke German. The mountain views are amazing, and the rooms are clean and tidy. They’re such sweet people. I’d highly recommend staying here.
