The bedroom has great lake views, and the rooms are really nice. Staff were cheerful, polite, and attentive to what we asked for. It would’ve been better if both windows opened, since only one did. Breakfast was simple and straightforward, though the views improved it. I’d suggest staying at least two nights in Hallstatt so you can take your time with the sights, enjoy its beauty, or go for a hike.

The hotel is a little outside the “city center,” but it’s only about a five minute walk, and we liked the quieter, quaint, relaxing feel. The cafe attached to the rooms also has a great view, and the wine and beer were good. The room was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. Waking up to that incredible view was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were wonderful, kind, and accommodating. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel could have less than five stars.

Breakfast by the big windows, with that beautiful scenery outside, is something I won’t forget. The B&B sits right by the water, with huge windows facing the lake and Hallstatt, and there’s a wonderful viewpoint across the village. It’s modern but still cozy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a lovely stay. You can walk to the village center, but you’re far enough out to enjoy the view and get a great photo. The P1 parking garage is about a 10 minute walk away, and self service check in was organized perfectly. I think this may be the best hotel to book in Hallstatt.

The location and room quality were excellent. Prices were very high, and the staff could be more helpful.

The room was excellent, and the bed was round. Breakfast was amazing, with a delicious range of fruit, vegetables, juice, coffee, and more. There are stunning views of Obertraun and the castle. It’s an easy walk downtown, and far enough away from the noisy common area while still close to everything. Just enough for a luxury stay, and I’ll definitely come back. Google reviews can be misleading for a small town B&B, since the bad ones seem to be about the restaurant, which I assume shouldn’t be tied to the hotel attached. This place is top notch.
