The apartment has modern amenities and the kitchen equipment you need, but hauling luggage up and down four floors is difficult because there’s no lift. Construction directly across the street also makes it noisy from early morning. It’s very close to Salzburg Hbf, though that area isn’t ideal for families.

The balcony and roof terrace had a great view of the mountains and Salzburg. We really enjoyed our stay, and the apartment was well equipped for our family of four. The sofa bed was very comfortable. Would recommend.

Having the penthouse suite and private access to the rooftop patio was wonderful. It’s a decent place on the top floor, but street noise can be bothersome if you open the window to cool the room. It also needs a deep clean, since ants were drawn to the floors.

The apartment is modern, with an Ikea design, very clean, and has fast Wi-Fi. Kaserbacher is very friendly. It’s also just 3-5 minutes from Salzburg central station and the bus interchange, where buses go to Hallstatt (Bad Ischl) and Berchtesgaden.

The apartment is small and overpriced, and the booking didn’t mention that it was on the 4th floor. It came across as if that detail had been intentionally hidden.
