We loved the breakfast buffet, with its huge selection, and the rooms were beautifully furnished, well equipped, and very clean. It's a small, welcoming hotel that's run with care and a personal touch. The setting is quiet, with private parking, and the centre is about a 10-minute walk away.

The breakfast was phenomenal, with dozens of homemade and local options and so much variety. My daughter and I were welcomed like old friends by the owners, and they made us feel we could come back anytime. Villa Verde has calming colours and tasteful holiday decorations. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully furnished with comfortable, quality things. We had a lovely stay.

Alex makes great latte macchiatos, and we enjoyed picking the background music on the turntable at breakfast. My wife and I stayed three nights in September 2025. The hosts were friendly, our room was large and clean, and it was dead quiet at night. The only small downside for us was the walk to the old town. We must be lazy, since we like having all the good walk-to restaurants within five minutes. Absolutely recommended.

The hosts were caring and breakfast was delicious, something we looked forward to each morning. We also loved the peaceful walks by the nearby lake, surrounded by lovely nature. Our room was comfortable, well equipped, and roomy enough for 2-3 people with the sofa bed. There wasn't AC, but a good fan was provided, and the cool mid-September weather meant we didn't need more. Parking is available, and the property is walkable to Salzburg's main area or a quick taxi ride away. We were very happy we chose Villa Verde and would definitely stay there again if we return to Salzburg.
