The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the mirrored room it’s served in feels like a palace. Service there was great too. This is a classic, family-run hotel with friendly service, within walking distance of the railway station. My room was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and brightly lit. Having a radio play classical music while I showered was a lovely little treat.
10/10
The hotel was clean, pleasant, and in an excellent location. Helene at reception welcomed us warmly when we arrived earlier than expected, arranged an early check-in, and took care of our luggage. We felt comfortable from the start. A fun extra: Channel 100 played The SOUND OF MUSIC on repeat all night on our first day. Thanks for such a warm stay.
8/10
Breakfast was nice, and the staff were good. The location also worked well for us, close to the central train station, the river, and historic sights. Our room, though, felt very small for three people. The wooden door between the room and bathroom was an issue too, since steam and unpleasant smells from the bathroom or toilet came into the room.
10/10
A quiet, safe neighborhood just two blocks from the train station, with a SPAR Supermarket and a mall nearby for anything you might need. The hotel is family-owned and independent, and we’d definitely stay again. Staff were all wonderful: Mrs. Michaela, the Reservations Mgr., was professional and kind; Joseph at the Front Desk was too, and the breakfast lady and housekeepers were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very good. To get to the Historic Center, take bus # 23. Your cel phone can show you where to catch it and how to get there.
10/10
The staff were really accommodating, and breakfast was excellent. There’s parking, too. It’s a very nice 4-star hotel that’s been renovated recently.
