The gardens are lovely, with decking and nice spots to sit outside. Inside, the rooms are clean and adequate, and the food is great. The staff are so courteous and friendly and do everything they can for you. The manager is friendly and sociable too.

The attached restaurant is a real plus, especially its lovely garden seating. Meals cost extra, though the prices are very reasonable. There’s parking right in front of the building. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with a slightly sentimental old fashioned feel to the furniture and decor. It has the feel of a last century time capsule, but in a charming way. Staff are super friendly, as you’d expect in Austria. For the fair price, it’s still an okay stay despite no air conditioning in summer and noise from the road and train yard.

The staff are friendly, and the restaurant menus come in all sorts of languages. It’s good value for the price. The hotel has a very distinctive, rather kitschy design that takes a while to get used to. I wouldn’t suggest staying more than a couple of nights.

You can hear trains passing at night because the hotel is quite close to the tracks, which is the one drawback. The restaurant food is very good, and the hotel is decorated beautifully. If you can book the honeymoon suite, it’s spectacular.
