Metro Apartments Vienna

The place was poorly maintained, with a tiny dorm, a dirty bathroom and only a basic kitchen.

There was no shampoo or shower gel, and the room had no internet connection for either Wi-Fi or cellular service. I had such a bad stay that I won't stay in this apartment again.

The apartments are close to the metro and less than 10 minutes from the city center, but the room was dim and there was no Wi-Fi. It also looked nothing like the pictures. Cleaning was poor: the toilet was dirty, and the curtains and beds had stains. The apartment itself was fairly comfortable, but clearly wasn't being maintained. Lights, towel hangers, the shower and even the floors were damaged and hadn't been repaired or replaced. With no shutters and blinds that wouldn't close properly, we didn't feel we had enough privacy. The outside area was dirty and messy too, another sign the whole place had been neglected.

Stay away from this apartment. Sleeping on a park chair would've been better and free. I arrived at 11 pm and used self check-in, then found a terrible public toilet smell throughout the room. The room felt 99% humid, which made the smell worse, and it seemed to come from the bathroom, where there was a lot of water on the floor. They put me on the top floor, reached by really dangerous stairs, and the walls were covered in mold (photos attached). The room was completely humid, and they had left an old, dirty dehumidifier that wasn't working. I'm pregnant and couldn't sleep in that unhygienic place. Reception was closed at 11 pm, and nobody helped me, so I had to find another hotel with a vacancy and pay twice the normal room price in Wien. METRO APARTMENT REFUSES TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK. THEY STOLE 250 EUROS. Don't waste your money!
