The staff made the biggest difference, with genuine warmth and enthusiasm that made a winter visit to Vienna feel much cozier. The location, facilities, cleanliness, and service were all strong, with little to fault, and it was the best value-for-money stay among the three hotels I tried in Austria. It was my first time staying with Wilde, and I was impressed enough that I’m already thinking about choosing Wilde again for my next London trip.

The staff were friendly and attentive at any hour, always ready to answer questions. The apartments were good value and generally affordable, with spacious rooms, large and very comfortable beds, and modern equipment that didn’t make the space feel cluttered. The common areas and amenities have been tastefully renovated, and the building is in a superb spot near public transport, in a quieter part of town at night. There’s a complimentary, modern, fully equipped gym next door, with a sauna. Like most aparthotels, rooms aren’t made up every day, but each has a small kitchen and enough space to tidy up. They’ll replenish towels and take away rubbish. If you’re staying in Vienna, it’s worth checking for an available room.

Sebastian the GM runs free outings around the historic centre, and makes a point of including both slower and faster runners. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, even after I managed to lose my room and gym card. This is a beautifully renovated former grand post office, with a chic, top notch gym included. What a place, it makes you wonder when you can come back. Outstanding.

We loved the place so much that after our 3 nights last week, we wished we could have stayed a month. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the Innere Stadt, and we’re already looking forward to returning. The staff were friendly and professional, and we felt cared for like we were at a friend’s house. The apartment was simple and modern in design, with comfortable furniture, amazing bedding, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of cupboards for clothes and suitcases. I like to unpack and get organized when I travel, even on a short stay, and everything here helped us feel settled, cozy, and at home.
