Regitnig Hotel & Chalets

I can't comment on the hotel itself, though I'm sure it's very good. Regitnig's restaurant is definitely one of the best places to eat at Weissensee. Highly recommended!

We stayed here in August 2024, and I was disappointed by the price. Our double room cost 350€ a night, yet it hadn't been updated in decades. The staff were very nice, and the lake is only a three-minute walk away. The owners have put up fancy chalets but haven't invested in the regular rooms, which isn't acceptable at that price.

The staff made us feel at home from the moment we walked in, and they knew the area well enough to give helpful suggestions for things to do. There were so many activities available through the hotel that a month still wouldn't have been enough to fit them all in. The lakeside setting is perfect, with outstanding views from the rooms and terrace. Our spacious room was cozy and impeccably clean, and the restaurant had great views, generous portions, very nice food, and a good range of wines and spirits. The calm, spacious spa and well-kept, relaxing beach were both wonderful too. Everything about the stay felt perfect. I can't wait for another chance to escape to this beautiful place, wish I could give it more than five stars!

We tried to book another stay later in the summer after our first day, but they were already full, and now we understand why. The people were kind and friendly, the service was helpful, and the food was amazing. The rooms are basic, quiet, clean and comfortable. You'll probably spend most of your time hiking, swimming, boating and eating anyway. The setting is beautiful.
