The room was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped, and the location is handy for Fortitude Valley station and the tivoli. The complex has two public pools, private spa rooms, and a cinema that can be booked for free through reception. But the service was terrible. On the phone, we couldn't understand the woman well enough to make a booking, and check-in was mediocre. We booked a spa room because the cinema wasn't working, with no notice on its door, just as we'd found on a previous stay about a year earlier. The spa room itself was lovely, but despite our four-hour booking it had no towels, fridge, glassware, cutlery, crockery, or ice. There was a dishwasher, but the spa pool water was almost below the filter, the audio didn't work, and the TV wasn't connected to the hotel's WiFi. It could have been a great facility, but they dropped the ball. We were quoted $50 per hour for late checkout, so booked four extra hours out of necessity. At checkout they tried to charge us for a whole night's stay, and the receptionist only honoured the night auditor's quoted fee after more than 20 minutes of arguing. We also forgot to return one key, and were charged $90 for a replacement without anyone first asking us about it. A week after emailing our concerns, we still had no reply. Because of the service, I won't consider staying here again.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of days to holiday and attend the ACDC concert, and we were happy with everything, especially the location. The concierge was a hit, as it was our first time using one. Staff were friendly and helpful. My children have stayed here several times for work and getaways, and now I understand why they keep coming back. Best motel we've stayed in.

The apartment was neat and clean, and the location is great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our stay would have been perfect for the family if the apartment had bowls, basic cooking condiments, a more efficient drying rack for laundry, and Netflix.

Water leaks above my car park, a constant garbage smell by the B1 carpark bins, cockroaches, and an elevator that never seems to get fixed have made this building quite a place. The fire alarm goes off falsely whenever it rains, and the water usage bills are much higher than at other buildings or apartments. I've raised these problems with our property manager Joy, but she never follows up. I wish the building and our best property manager Joy all the best. May things keep being maintained just as they have been, and the Google reviews and raitings keep shining.
