Hyatt Regency Brisbane

Finding the hotel by car was awful because it's in the mall, but once we got inside, everyone was great. Martin the concierge looked after our car, brought us bottled water, and gave fantastic service. Paige at reception was warm and lovely too. She checked us in, tried to put us on the same floor as my daughter, and gave us a late checkout because I'm now a member. Breakfast was great, and the breakfast team were wonderful as well. My experience here was spot on. We'll definitely come back.

The main draw is the location and comfort. You're right in the CBD, with an easy short walk to eateries, The Star, and Southbank, though I'd be cautious about walking out late at night. Stay safe. Our room was clean but fairly simple, and not especially modern by Hyatt Group design standards. The facilities are basic, just a pool and a small gym, so I wouldn't choose it for those. Service was good, though staffing seemed minimal and things took longer than you'd expect at a city five star hotel. We had to call several times to get a bucket of ice.

A convenient place, close to shopping malls and other amenities. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and the food was great, especially the pastries. Thanks to our friend Celia Cardwell for recommending it. We'll definitely be back!

We spent five days here and had a lovely time. The hotel is modern and stylish, very clean, and has a spacious restaurant with a nice atmosphere, plus a gym and sauna. For what it offers, the price still felt affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Aman in the restaurant was especially kind and took great care of us. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.
