The rooftop infinity pool on the 30th floor was magnificent, and the views across The Brisbane River to the city are stunning. It’s a great place to stay, close to transport and attractions.

I used Lucid Living before moving into my own unit, and dealing with them was a consistent nightmare. Once, they failed to collect the rent from my tenant, and I had to send Alan lots of emails asking him to transfer the money. When my tenant moved out, the two key remotes were badly damaged before the property was handed back to me. Alan said they couldn’t do anything because the tenant had already left, so I had to get help from the building manager. Then, three months after I moved into my own place, I received outstanding electricity and water bills from the previous period that my tenant was supposed to pay. These mistakes make me feel Lucid Living doesn’t take its business seriously enough to provide a high standard of service.

The apartments have smart layouts, great views and good fixtures, but the noise was awful in every one we looked at. The cheap plasterboard made even the smallest sound echo and boom. A sound-damping finish from the builder would have made a huge difference for a small added cost.

The apartment itself was modern, clean, well maintained and in a great location, so we had an amazing stay apart from one arrival issue. It wasn’t clear where to find the key lockbox or where to park while double parking. When we went into the first office, the property manager, not the receptionist, was there. He was rude and uninterested when we asked for help. He should be located out of sight in the back of house, since he wasn’t helpful and clearly has been working there too long. Just make sure you avoid that property manager 😂

I lost my key and felt completely stuck outside my home. I understand I’m not their direct tenant and have to apply through the real estate agent, so I urgently emailed a new key application through my real estate agent manager. The BM at No. 58 still seemed impatient and unwilling to help straight away. They said they would only deal with it the next day because the employees were on vacation. I still haven’t received a reply. There was no sympathy for someone locked out, and the whole team’s efficiency in handling this has been very disappointing and needs to improve.
