A good place to step away from ordinary stays and just unwind in nature. The beach is lovely and well away from other tourists, and the tent and bed were great. The pillows felt too big for me, though. I wish I’d had longer to stay and try taking the kayak out to fish. There’s a good shower and laundry facilities, and Alex was a kind, humble host. It costs quite a bit for what you get materially, but that isn’t really the point of this place. I’d recommend it if you need a break from the usual boring accommodation. Cheers.

We only stayed one night in December, but it was just right. The tent was spotless and the bed really comfortable, and Alex made us feel welcome. We loved how peaceful Pachamama was. There was an option to join a boat tour at sunset, though sadly we couldn’t try it this time. Dinner was available for $15 a head, which felt very affordable. It’s such a beautiful part of the world, and we’ll be telling everyone about it. Thanks, Alex and Im, and Rocco too!

The beach is only steps away, and the facilities were great. Alex made the experience especially memorable as a wonderful host and an inspiring person. I’ll recommend Pachamama retreat to anyone visiting Tasmania, and I’m planning to come back myself. Thanks, Alex, for a lovely stay and for all you do for the Earth.

Meeting the other guests was a highlight. Alex was a lovely host, and we spent the evening talking over plenty of drinks with some great people. Camping beside such a beautiful beach was wonderful too. The shared facilities feel clean and homely, with hot showers and strong water pressure. The toilet is unusual, but it doesn’t smell like most long drop camp toilets. This isn’t a five star accommodation, but it suits anyone who wants a camping experience without hauling, setting up, and packing away their own gear.

The views are amazing, with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. Bring your own food and wine, then settle in and enjoy the natural surroundings. Alex, one of the owners, has an amazing life story and mission, and a visit to the love museum is inspiring. The tents are spacious, luxurious, clean, and very private. It’s rustic, but still a first class eco-friendly glamping and rest spot, a nice place to recharge your spirit.
