Raffles Royale

I only got to use the outdoor facilities once, and the pool was pretty good. The spa jets could have been stronger, maybe they were blocked, but it wasn't a big deal. I don't usually book at Raffles when I'm on the Gold Coast, but my usual hotel was full during the 2014 Gold Coast 600 V8 races, so I stayed at Raffles Royale instead. It worked out really well: the price was great, the facilities were fantastic, and it had all the comforts of home. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. Great value, and I'd recommend it.

I've stayed here a few times and keep coming back for the location. Everything is close by, and the beach is just a 3 minute walk away. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and Therese is lovely to deal with. I'll be back as soon as I can.

We've been back four times in four years because it's great accommodation, with a fantastic spa and everything you need nearby. The staff are terrific, and they sort out any problems quickly. Shops and the beach are close, the tram is nearby, and buses stop about 100 metres up the road.

The reception was really rude for no reason, and there was no one available around the clock to help. We never had toilet paper, the TV didn't work, and there was no air conditioning. They also wanted an early checkout or would call the police. I won't stay here again.
