The bed was super comfortable, and our room came with a full kitchen and laundry. The owner was friendly, and their cat wore a little sweater. It’s a fun, quirky place for a stay while travelling through this out-of-the-way part of the country. All the best Laverton dining and nightlife are within walking distance. 10/10, I’d stay here again!

The local pub had a great atmosphere, and Sam made sure our loaded-up car was safe. He’s a character and very friendly.

We were lucky to find a pet-friendly stay, and the owners are truly wonderful people. It’s an oldie but a goodie, with amazing rooms.

Nothing seemed to have been replaced in many years. The bed was uncomfortable, there was just one wine glass, and security felt limited. Sam needs to look at what other accommodation offers. Never again!

It’s well lit, secure, and about 50 metres from the centre of town, with the local pool 20 metres away. The local knowledge was priceless. I found a bit of gold as a souvenir and heard about some outstanding places with unbelievable stories, though you wouldn’t know about them unless someone explained. Great experience, and hopefully next year is just as plentiful.
