The Gallery Accommodation McCrae

David and Sue were perfect hosts, and I highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed 18-21 Jan for a wedding nearby. The place made a great first impression, with open living areas and everything we needed. It was very clean, and breakfast had lots of choices, including fresh bread from the local bakery. They even left home-cooked muffins outside our door. The location is great, within walking distance of the beach, and the artwork was amazing, with pieces available to buy.

After being ill, my carer/girlfriend and I wanted somewhere peaceful within reach of Melbourne. I messed up the online booking and had to change it, but David and Sue handled that without any hassle. Three days there, helped along by lovely weather, left me feeling like a new person. The little home was incredibly clean but still comfortable, and we adored the garden, fairy lights, plants, trees, and bamboo. It was so quiet, and one morning there was a surprise breakfast. There’s also a love story tucked away in ‘The Gallery’. It’s a total treat and, to me, the place to go on the peninsula. I thought it was too cheap for what you get. I’ll be back, hopefully with my daughter, and later with my son and his partner. Thanks guys, Maddy ❤️❤️❤️

The accommodation is spotless and has everything you need, in a quiet, peaceful setting. It’s an easy walk to the beach, walking trail, and great cafes. We first came for a few days in February 2019, then returned this weekend with our extended family. David and Sue are wonderful hosts. Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be back. 🙂🙂

A lovely place with fresh, super clean rooms and a really nice host. A family of four can fit, provided the kids are okay sharing a bed ^_^. And make sure you give the dog a pat, he's a good boi.
