The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is close to everything. It seems like great value for Accor vacation members. We used my mother’s membership, which is allowed. Non-members, though, should be careful with the offer of free parking and breakfast in exchange for a so-called simple 45-minute seminar. We didn’t attend at first. Apparently our breakfast order had to be taken, but nobody came to take it over the weekend. When we arrived for the seminar, they said there’d be no breakfast until 11:30-12 because of that, so we could either go without or wait until lunch. We were also told the seminar would take 45 minutes to an hour, then found out it was 90-120 minutes and that they needed to ‘record our voices for training purposes’. That felt wrong, and apparently if you don’t agree, you can’t attend. We were annoyed and paid for parking, which upset me because I wouldn’t have parked there if we’d been given the right information from the start. Non-members, beware.

The rooms are spacious and really comfortable, and we’re already planning to come back. The location is ideal, close to everything. A perfect place to stay.

We keep coming back for a good reason: the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable, and they do everything they can to make your stay amazing. For me, it’s the best place to stay in the city.

The hotel is beautifully presented and in an excellent location. I’ve been coming here for twenty years, and it never disappoints.
