The quiet here is lovely, with birds as the only sound, and there’s a nice walk down to the creek among the cows and horses. The property is in the Nimbin hills, only a few minutes by car from town, and the hosts are friendly. Our larger motel room had a big, comfortable king bed, plus a bunk with a double and single above it, screened by a privacy blind. There were pretty views, good blackout curtains, and a pleasant outdoor area with patio dining and couches. The room adjoins two smaller rooms but still felt private. It has a large fridge and a handy little kitchen, though bring your own food and breakfast. Bungalows are available too. Worth staying a couple of days or longer.

We booked this place late after forgetting to arrange our return trip, but we’ll make it a regular stop from now on. The cabins are private, beautifully furnished and have all the amenities. The views are lovely too. Our kids enjoyed seeing the animals and were able to feed the horses with one of the owners there. It really is pet friendly, and our dog had room to stretch his legs and run around the countryside.

We arrived after a quick, last minute trip up from Sydney and were so glad this place had a room. Check-in felt warm and welcoming, and the person at the front desk shared good tips on where to see sunset and enjoy the property’s nature. The room was cute and comfortable, the beds were great, and we slept really well. Checkout the next day was easy. We’ll come back for longer next time.

The grounds are lush and green across 80 acres, with a little mountain trail to hike. It’s only a five minute drive from Nimbin town centre. Wayne and Paul were lovely, showed us around the retreat and shared lots of tips. The spacious rooms are tastefully done, with fresh linen, a spotless bathroom and a handy kitchenette. We especially loved their dogs, Jack and Beast, both very cute and good natured. Our stay was sadly too short, and we can’t wait to return with our own pups.

I was here for work and only stayed one night, which felt far too short. The place is quiet and green, surrounded by mountains, and I spotted a family of kangaroos near the dwelling. The foggy peaks looked beautiful in both the morning and evening. Cell service is limited to certain spots, but the friendly owners have made sure the internet connection is good. I’d suggest at least two nights to unwind.
