Apartments on Star

We had to leave our house suddenly because of a leak, and over the past month we've stayed in every Star St apartment as well as five other hotels. Star St is our favourite by far. It's close to everything, but tucked away a little from the city. There's parking, and great restaurants and shopping just a few minutes' walk away. We live less than 1km from the city and love that our neighbourhood is quiet and tucked away. Cathy and Mike did everything they could to fit us in and move us around as vacancies allowed. Hobart gets super busy in tourist season, so book months ahead if you can. The apartments are clean, airy and comfortable. For one person, my favourite is the one bedroom, number 2. For a longer stay, apartments 3 and 4 are better: they're two storey and feel like being at home. Apartment 4 has three bedrooms and is ultra modern, and it's my daughter and partner's favourite. I personally liked 3, with two bedrooms. It's just as modern, and the most private and quiet. If you'll be here more than three days, want to cook and like having extra space, this is the best place to stay. My only regret is that we couldn't stay here for the whole time our house was being repaired.

Tony and Martin added the little touches you don't usually get when staying away, and that made our stay at Star an absolute pleasure. The hosts were welcoming and generous, and the place was quiet. Everything was clean, with extremely comfortable furnishings and decor that were well maintained. Excellent location. Thank you!

The owners were really helpful, and the apartment was quiet and in a good location. We loved the decor and had everything we needed. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had a nice week here. The bathroom could use somewhere to hang the towels.
