The walk across the road to Seven Mile Beach was lovely, and we enjoyed the quiet setting, the hobby farm, and spotting wallabies around dusk. Beaches Restaurant was another highlight, with fresh local flavours and a warm, personal feel. Every meal was sensational. We felt looked after from the minute we arrived. A special thanks to Resort Manager Hammond for the welcome and for making sure everything was just right. His team’s genuine care made the place feel like home.

The address can be confusing: it’s 78 Surf Road, not 8. We had a great family week here, with friendly staff and a relaxed resort. Along with the usual two and three bedroom units, there’s the Owner's veggie patch, hobby farm, pool, gym, and tennis court. Seven Mile beach is right across the road.

Loved seeing pademelons at my front door each morning and evening. The surroundings were gorgeous, and it was an easy walk across the road to the ocean. The resort was really relaxing for a beach break. The main spa wasn’t working, though I had a private spa in my room. The restaurant closes on Mondays, so I had to find dinner elsewhere.

You’ll want a hire car to get around, and the nearest big supermarket is about 18 minutes away. The airport and lots of golf courses are close by, though. The tennis court was in great shape, but serious players should bring their own racquets and balls. You can borrow bikes and sports gear, and there are BBQ facilities too. Good work, Wyndham.

We had a great 10 days here, and the resort was a handy base for seeing the sights. Hammond helped us sort out our Sat-Nav, Maika welcomed us at reception, and Scottie from Maintenance had a good chat with us about the place. Great amenities. Cheers from the Kiwi’s.
