We loved ending the day by the river with pizza and wine, watching the sunset while someone nearby played guitar. It felt magical. Everything was within walking distance: the Gordon River Cruise, The Ship That Never Was, and picking up the pizza before walking home. The place has games, books, DVDs, TV apps, a washing machine and dryer, ping-pong, and a covered area for bad weather. The front bedrooms have beautiful water views. It would work brilliantly for families, but it was just my husband and me and we loved it. Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend.

The house was roomy and well set up, right across from the bay and jetty. We stayed while visiting the West coast and would definitely book it again next time.

We came from Melbourne as a family of four with my mother-in-law, and she gave it a thumbs up. The dining table was a great spot for spectacular sunsets, and the HD flatscreen had full SBS so we could watch the FIFA World Cup. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfy, and the wifi super fast. The kitchen was well equipped, right down to a potato masher 😀. There's also a table tennis table at the back. It's walking distance to both Strahan and West Strahan. A real gem.

The house was clean, a good size, and conveniently located, with a good heat pump. The bathroom was tiny, especially the basin, and at the opposite end of the house from the bedrooms. Pantry supplies were sparse: just salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee sachets, and little milk portions.

Basic place with a good kitchen fitout. It was cold in autumn, and asthma sufferers should be warned.
