The property itself is lovely, with charming buildings and gardens in a beautiful little setting. We had a good time, but I wouldn’t stay again because the room, bathrooms and service didn’t feel worth what we paid. Our private balcony had an amazing view, but there was a dead rat on it. The shared bathrooms weren’t very clean, though I expected some of that since they’re shared. The “treehouse” was a children’s cubby converted into a room. It only fit a bed and a chair, had no fan and was poorly ventilated, and the photos didn’t make the size clear. It cost $375 a night, which felt ridiculously expensive. I knew this was a small property and didn’t expect anything extravagant, but for comparison, Crown was $360 a night. I also had trouble reaching anyone. I called many times and got no answer, then received a text asking, “how can I help”. They require payment upfront and the booking is non-refundable.

Watching the moon come up over the water at night, then seeing the sunrise there in the morning, was a real treat. We had a wonderful family weekend, with plenty of room for our large group to stay and lots of spots to gather, including the big kitchen, dining area, sunroom and parlour. Afternoon drinks at the outdoor bar and lawn games were a hit, too. The location was stunning, with lovely views, a beach and animals around. Sam and Barry were very attentive when we had requests. We had an amazing time, thank you so much. We’ll definitely return.

We came to Seacroft Estate for a birthday and found it peaceful and memorable. Our tent had a beautiful ocean view, which we enjoyed from the table and benches outside over breakfast. There are three tents, and that part of the property felt quiet and private. The tent itself was roomy, with a comfortable double bed, two chairs and two side tables, plus plenty of space around the bed. Wi-Fi was reliable enough for video calls and work meetings. A couple of friendly cats were a nice bonus. The communal areas were in good shape. The kitchen was sparkling clean and had a fridge, gas stove, utensils and coffee machine. You’ll need to bring your own food and other drinks. There’s a spacious dining area with plenty of tables and chairs, including some with ocean views, and the shared toilets were clean throughout our stay. There are several kinds of accommodation here, from tents and a treehouse to studios and rooms with or without ocean views. It’s a calm place with lovely scenery and useful facilities, whether you’re visiting for a quiet break or a special occasion.

The location was superb, with a walk to the beach, unreal sunrise views and lots of lush lawn for a picnic. There were cute cows and alpacas around, too. I stayed in a simple, clean room with shared facilities. The kitchen and living spaces were huge and really lovely.

I really regret coming here. It’s only day one and I already want to go home. The views are gorgeous, and the little cat was the only decent thing about the place. I was expecting a house from the online photos, but it felt more like dorms or the cabins from my old high school. The rooms and buildings were much smaller than they seemed, and insanely old, with cracks and dust mites everywhere. There are bugs all over. I know nature comes with bugs, but the rooms and beds should have been cleaned. The beds are infested with bugs, and there are spiders and mosquitoes everywhere. The showers and bathroom are disgusting, and the water is just as gross. The doors barely close, and I was afraid all night. It’s overpriced and non-refundable. You could get a place at Crown for better than this absolute crap of an accommodation. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Do not come here.
