It felt safe, and we liked the place so much. Nizami street, Old city, and Boulevard are all so close. We recommend staying here! 😻

The location is amazing, near Nizami street and Old city. The hostel was really clean, and the staff were super friendly with guests.

The kitchen was full of garbage and rotten food, with dirty dishes and pots left in the sink. I’ve traveled to 20 plus countries, and this was definitely the worst accommodation I’ve experienced. When we arrived, the front door was locked and nobody was at reception. Luckily, the neighbors found us and showed us the back door. The receptionist was asleep. He said he had another job and wasn’t doing reception duties, so he called it a kind of self check-in hostel. Once we got to the room, it was obvious the bedding hadn’t been changed. He’d already left, so we had to wash it ourselves.

This used to be a lovely hostel, but it changed ownership and we were truly shocked by the state of it. After one night, we checked out, very disappointed. The room was filthy, with dirty sheets and mattresses and stained walls and floors. The listing said there was air conditioning, but it was a fan with no front protection, just blades spinning dust around the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the bathrooms and communal areas were disgustingly dirty, with bins not changed and dishes left out. It looked nothing like the photos posted online. We never saw any staff working there. When we finally checked in, we were taken to the wrong place. We’d told the owner we’d arrive at about 10pm, which wasn’t an unreasonable time, but the door was locked and we waited two hours for someone to come. Unlike other reviews, there was someone at the desk, but he said he didn’t work there and was only covering until the owner came back. He was no help at all. The hostel really should reconsider changing back to the old ownership.
