At Tk. 3,000 a day, the room is okay for the price, and the complimentary buffet breakfast is good. But restaurant prices are sky-high, with a 10% service charge on top that feels insane. Dal for three people costs Tk. 240. The pool is too deep if you’re not an experienced swimmer, the bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work, and the gym has very little equipment. If you’ve got money to spare with nowhere else to spend it, Orchid Hotel is waiting for you.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there’s also a gym. The swimming pool was closed for repairs and maintenance when I visited. It was my first stay, and compared with other hotels, the room and surroundings were very good. The staff were decent too.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very hospitable. Good value for the price, though the location is in the busiest traffic area in CTG.

Reception staff speak rudely to customers, and their phone communication doesn’t match how they act when you meet at the desk. In person, they’re unprofessional and disrespectful. This inconsistent attitude feels like customer harassment.
