Noorjahan Grand Hotel

I live in Sylhet and have a house here. I first came to use the sauna because mine was out of order, then decided to book a room for the night. The price was very reasonable for the service, facilities, and quality, and the night was relaxing. Room service was fast and polite. I liked the sauna, especially how hot it got, though next time I hope to come earlier so it can reach 90°. I also ate at the top-floor restaurant, where the chicken Mandi was better than I expected. I didn't have time to use the gym this time, but plan to visit again soon for that. One small suggestion: please consider hiring a male massage therapist so men who want massage or spa facilities can use them respectfully and with dignity. I understand the Spa isn't managed by Noorjahan, but would appreciate it if my request could be passed along. Kind regards, I look forward to my next visit, Akbar.

The atmosphere at Hotel Noor Jahan Restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. Manager Razon Khan was welcoming, professional, attentive, and clearly cared about each guest's experience. His dedication helped everything run smoothly. The food was delicious, full of flavor, fresh, nicely presented, and prepared to perfection. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I highly recommend Hotel Noor Jahan Restaurant for good food and service. I'll return and recommend it to friends and family.

Our visit to Hotel Noorjahan was disappointing from the start, even though it is nearby the Dargah Gate. That location was why we chose it. Traveling with my family and children, we arranged a paid pickup from Osmani International Airport. The hotel sent a Noah microbus for seven passengers and charged 2,000 BDT, a transfer many other hotels usually offer guests for free. The vehicle apparently had problems with its legal papers, and the police stopped us on the highway. We were stranded roadside for nearly 45 minutes with children and luggage, which was stressful, inconvenient, and unprofessional. After seven days, the transport charge still wasn't on the hotel bill at checkout, but I later got repeated calls asking me to pay. That showed poor coordination and management. It felt like hospitality wasn't their priority. Their adjacent hospital operation seemed to get more attention than the hotel. I'd strongly advise travelers and families to avoid it if they expect professional service, proper guest care, and a smooth stay.

The calm, welcoming atmosphere and central location in Sylhet city made for a wonderful stay. What impressed me most was the hospitality: staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist, and room service was fast and professional. The owner personally checks that guests are satisfied, which you don't see often. Full marks from me!
