The room was spacious and wonderful, with a luxurious shower, very comfortable beds, and everything we could have wanted. Our little one loved the bunk in his secret room. We were a family of four, with a five year old and a 10 month old, and they had a place set out for us at breakfast. The breakfast itself was amazing, and the honesty bar in one of the buildings was a lovely touch. We felt like celebs relaxing with wine after an evening out. We'd booked private parking in a garage just a short walk away. The location, decor, attention to detail, and hospitality from our hosts were all second to none. After 40 years and lots of travel around the world, this was the nicest hotel or B&B we've stayed in. The bar has been set very high. If we're back in Bruges, we'll stay here again. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely Christmas stay. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the location right by the main cathedral was fantastic. It was easy to rest and warm up in the cozy common rooms, another nice touch among all the thoughtfully planned details. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in the Loft Room. The exposed wooden beams and decor were beautiful, and the space was quaint and comfortable. It's in a great location, with a special view of the Cathedral. The hosts were lovely, communication was great, and they paid attention to the details. The buffet breakfast was delicious :)

We really liked B&B 1669, and I'd happily come back and recommend it. The location, staff, building, and room were all excellent. The room was clean, warm, and welcoming, with a lovely bathroom and a freestanding bath. The style is best described as shabby boutique. A couple of small gripes: the wooden floors carry noise, and we could hear every footstep from the room above, loud enough to keep us awake. Rugs in the rooms might help. The bath is great, but showering sent water down the wall behind it and flooded the floor. And I thought the coffee at breakfast let it down, it was from the kind of machine you'd expect at a convenience hotel.

We had a superb long weekend at 1669 for the Tour of Flanders cycle race. The architecture was stunning, the hosts were friendly, and breakfast was excellent. The location worked perfectly, and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Bruges. Thank you!
