We had a private room, which was quite big and nice. The welcome was very warm and breakfast decent. It’s a great hostel, though a bit far from the city. The bus takes about 30 minutes to the centre.

The setting by a beautiful lake is serene and charming, and Caroline & Jacinta have done a really good job with Aan de Plas. I felt comfortable and at home from the moment I arrived until checkout, and I’d recommend anyone choose this hostel without hesitation. I overslept and missed breakfast, but Jacinta put some out for me at 12:30. What a legend. You’ve earned yourselves a fan! - Karan :-)

Clean rooms, a nice view and helpful staff made this a great place. The sea is a short distance away. There are cozy restaurants on site and an interesting bar, plus a wide play area for kids and adults alike :)
