The host was responsive and helpful, which earns the two stars. But at 130€ a night, this ground-floor one-bedroom apartment was nowhere near worth the price. The bunk beds creaked and weren’t secured to the wall, so they felt unsafe. The TV also came on by itself at 3 am, which was frightening. We checked, and its automatic power-on setting was off. Parking is another problem: free spaces are on the side of the highway, roughly 700-1000m from the apartment. Inside, the layout and facilities were frustrating. The partition between the living room and bedroom is in the way every time you pass through. The kitchen is tiny, has no dishwasher, a small sink, inadequate utensils, an exhaust light that didn’t work, and cabinets that weren’t very clean. Heating was complicated to figure out. The bathroom is extremely small, its sliding door won’t close, and there was no soap. The towels were small and didn’t feel professional. Bedroom lighting was practically useless. The patio felt like wasted space, with walls on both sides, and I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sit there.

The flat is very close to town attractions, restaurants, and public transport, and it’s generally spacious upstairs and well equipped. It needs a thorough clean, though, and the towels were poor quality and not enough of them. The narrow, steep stairs have no railings. There were no fire extinguishers, smoke or heat detectors, or fire exit.

We were fined for parking on the street just 10 metres from the apartment. Free parking is available, but it’s more than 150 metres from Sarilk’s place. There are two very steep staircases without handrails, first from the outside entrance to the main floor, then up to the third floor, where the two bedrooms and another bathroom are. The two-bedroom apartment at Sarik’s place was bright, airy, spacious, and nicely furnished. Its large kitchen was very well equipped, great for baking. Still, we couldn’t get an iron even after asking, and you should bring soap and toilet rolls for both bathrooms. The website photos were unclear about what belongs to which apartment. The small patio and washing machine are part of the ground-floor one-bedroom apartment. The garden shown in the pictures is actually a mural on the wall, and the patio we saw from our kitchen window didn’t lead to a garden.
