Chantal and Chris were excellent hosts throughout. It rained on our first day, so they lent us an umbrella, and after breakfast they went over the city sights on a tourist map, including a delightful 16th-century cafe. They speak Dutch, English and French, at least the languages we heard. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the shared breakfast table downstairs; there are only three rooms, so at most six people. Breakfast had bread, cheese and ham, yogurt with granola, fruit, and a cooked surprise, pancakes and French toast for us. Our clean, modern room had a very large bed, wardrobe, drawers, TV and room to move around, plus a kettle and tea and coffee. A bottle of wine appeared on the second night. The bathroom is an annex, with a curtain for privacy, a walk-in shower, large basin and separate toilet. A brilliant stay in a charming city.

We left with nothing but good memories and would choose this place again if we came back to Brugge or the area. It's well placed for exploring, with parking in front and the city centre within walking distance. The place was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony and delicious breakfast. The lovely couple clearly care about hosting and the city. They took plenty of time over breakfast and gave us lots of tips, including a mapped-out walking tour. Can't think of anything bad.

I had the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted here. I visited in 2017, and I still remember how heavenly it felt.

A great B&B!

The owners gave us useful ideas for things to see nearby and a Bruges map to explore with. We stayed upstairs on the second floor, in a beautiful room with a separate shower and toilet. The room also had wine, coffee, tea, water and two little jugs by the beds for the evening. Breakfast was excellent: one day, fruit, fresh bread, cheeses, ham and fresh toast; the next, fruit, bread, toppings and pancakes. It's a lovely B&B run by a very sweet older couple. I definitely recommend De Goede 13!
