The woman we dealt with was extremely rude and unhelpful. The rooms were spacious, but the sheets seemed unwashed, with hair on the bedding, sofa and in the bathroom. The floors were so noisy that someone had put up a handwritten note asking guests to walk very slowly so they wouldn’t annoy the people downstairs. Space doesn’t make up for poor comfort and hygiene. Never again.

The host was friendly and helpful, even though we never actually saw him. Getting in was easy with the access codes. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large double bed. The bathroom was impressively big, with a separate shower, bathtub and two sinks. The kitchen is very limited, with just a microwave and kettle, so this won’t suit you if you really want to cook. Otherwise, it was pretty much a perfect accommodation option in Bruges.

The rooms are large and the stay was pleasant. Being near the river, though, there was sometimes a sewage smell when the window was open.
