The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful, which made my stay even nicer. Though small, my room was very clean and had a stunning view of the charming buildings outside. It's a lovely hotel near the centre of Brugge, and I highly recommend it for exploring the sights.

The atmosphere felt like living in a fairytale, and we really loved it. My wife and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights. It was very clean and the breakfast was marvelous. Highly recommended, and we already know where we'll stay when we return to Bruges!

Sometimes it's the rooms, breakfast or location that matter, but sometimes it's simply the people. I want to personally thank the hotel owner for her kindness and understanding. When a strike at Brussels airport led to my flight being canceled, she agreed without hesitation to my request to cancel the reservation one day before I was due to arrive. A clean room or good Wi-Fi can't mean more than people's kindness when you're traveling. I haven't stayed at the hotel yet, but I'm sure it's wonderful. Thank you for everything, and I hope our next conversation can be face to face.

We just checked out, and this was the cleanest hotel I've ever seen. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the hotel's beauty and atmosphere really stood out. I especially liked the no-shoes rule for the floors, which let us enjoy the clean rooms with peace of mind. Our room was great and had everything we needed. Breakfast with nice music was really good too. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Bruges.

We booked five nights here, but for me, this is most definitely not a hotel. Before we arrived, we got a WhatsApp message saying to use the buzzer and that our key would be on the reception desk. The key was there with a letter addressed to someone else, so I thought it wasn't ours. I had to call Fleur, the owner, to confirm it was our key and that they'd mistakenly used the previous guests' name. Fleur also told me on the phone that shoes aren't allowed upstairs, and that we could use the drinks, tea and coffee downstairs but would need to keep track of what we took so it could be charged at checkout. I didn't like being asked to remove my shoes, especially since that wasn't mentioned before booking. I assumed there'd be a kettle in the room, but there wasn't one, no fridge either, or anything beyond two glasses. I've never stayed anywhere without at least a kettle in the room, and this is supposed to be a hotel. The double bed was two singles pushed together. Cuddling was difficult, and sometimes we'd start to fall into the gap. There was no lift, which also wasn't mentioned in the booking. Our room was on the third floor, and taking a suitcase up would have been an ordeal. Luckily, my partner and I are young and fit. The toilet seat was broken too. There were good points: the room was warm and spacious, with plenty of blankets, sheets and towels. It was cleaned daily and the towels were replaced. The shower was lovely and hot, and I liked that they provided body lotion, which I don't often see in hotels. Breakfast was good, with cold meats, cheese, olives, rolls, pastries, cereal, fruit and sweets. The orange and apple juices were good, and the filtered coffee was the best we've ever had. Pros: hot shower, body lotion, large room, daily cleaning and breakfast. Cons: no shoes upstairs, no lift, split bed, broken toilet seat and the name mix-up.
