VEGAN, PLANT BASED b&b central Bruges

AM/PM Bed and Breakfast is a fantastic place to stay in Bruges, and the only vegan accommodation in town. Tiny and Kevin are a lovely, down-to-earth couple, full of useful local knowledge and advice. Their breakfast is wonderful too, with homemade bread, preserves, cheeses and waffles. The B&B is on a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the river, about a ten-minute walk from both the station and the town centre. If you're visiting Bruges, stay there!

Tiny and Kevin's vegan breakfast is freshly made to guests' wishes, and it was delicious. We really appreciated that everything was vegan. The hosts are easy to talk to and gave us valuable tips for Bruges. The rooms are cozy, stylish and very clean, in a beautifully renovated old building by the park on the edge of Bruges' old town. The one drawback is that the toilet is basically in the room, separated only by a wooden wall, which won't suit everyone. Still, we'd clearly recommend it.

The location was peaceful, with a river walk just outside, and we slept well. Our room was a good size and had nice facilities. Breakfast changed each day, with plenty of choice, and it was all homemade. I especially liked the cheeses and spreads. My partner and I had a lovely stay, and I hope we can return.

The morning vegan breakfast was a treat: the hosts made it fresh to order, and a hot coffee with a freshly baked Belgian waffle was a great start before heading out to explore until lunch. The B&B is lovely, in a beautiful but rather narrow house a few minutes' walk outside the inner city. From the windows we could see a park and canal. The room had everything we needed, including a kettle, and we even borrowed sage leaves from the monastery garden to make sage tea. We had a great time and hope to come back.
