Hamiltonhouse

We enjoyed staying here as a comfortable base for four people. The house worked well for a short break, with a well-equipped kitchen and living room downstairs, a large double bed on the first floor, and two single beds in the skylight bedroom above. The attic got quite hot during our stay, though there was a large fan, and I think leaving the window open with the bug screen shut would have helped. Downstairs and the first-floor bedroom stayed cool. The place is very central in Bruges and handy for the No.2 bus, which is useful if you're leaving your car at a Park and Ride. One small quirk is that the walk-in shower is off the corridor beside the main bedroom, so we cleared the bedroom whenever someone wanted to use it. The sink and washing machine are in a short corridor off that room too. The washer isn't quiet, so don't run it at night.
