There’s a quiet garden inside the hotel where it was lovely to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The location is very good and the staff are friendly. It was quiet apart from one night, when some stupid drunk people came in during the middle of the night and knocked on every room door.

I liked that this felt like a friendly, characterful place rather than a chain hotel. The courtyard is lovely to sit in, with a huge, beautiful living wall of creeping plants that seems to be a haven for wildlife. The breakfast area was small and a bit awkward to get food from, but I didn’t mind. Everyone was polite and patient.

The hostess and proprietor was exceedingly kind and welcoming, and breakfast had plenty to choose from: fruit, pastries, rolls and breads, eggs and breakfast meats, cold cuts, and more. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a box of chocolates waiting for us. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautiful, and we enjoyed the peaceful courtyard garden. The 't Gheestelic Hof is in a quiet, convenient spot between the train station and town center, making it a great base for day trips and time in Brugge. We’d definitely stay again.

The lady in charge was especially warm and helpful. She made sure I had what I needed and offered tips on nearby places to visit, which really added to my stay. I was there in October 2024, and found the room comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a nice area close to local attractions and restaurants, so it was easy to get around and explore. A friendly place in a convenient location.
