Pension Vakantie Logies Hollywood

Getting into the accommodation wasn't explained well, even though the location itself was great. We had to rely on information from previous guests to find the place. The room looked renovated, but the toilet had stains and the toilet paper was wet. There seemed to be no interest from the host, who might have been a waiter from the restaurant. No one explained where our room was, which room it was, or anything about the accommodation. Sorry, but I do NOT recommend it.

We chose this place because Booking.com advertised “delicious breakfast included,” but there was no breakfast. The staff had a negative attitude. We stayed three nights and the room was never serviced. I had to ask twice for more coffee capsules, there was no sugar, and no one cleaned or collected the garbage. On the third evening I had to ask for fresh towels. “Service” seems to be an unknown word here.

The apartment itself was great, with lovely decor, a comfortable bed, and a rain shower. The staff, though, were curt and rude, and the directions were vague. We eventually figured out we had to ring a bell in a small alley and wait for someone to let us in. The man who checked us in didn't even ask our names. There was no wifi, or maybe he just couldn't be bothered to give us the password. A mixed experience.

It's just rooms, with no reception, a bit like Airbnb but with very poor service. Nobody was there to hand over our room, so we had to ask a neighbour to call him. There was a coffee machine but no coffee, and no shampoo or bath soap. There are lots of stairs to reach the room. The room itself was clean.
