Slina hotel

Everything, including getting into the room, is handled online through their website's digital key. I wasn't sure if that was a plus or a minus, but the process was easy and smooth for me. The room was simple and okay, with decent bed quality, but it faced the street and was noisy. I could also hear water running through the poorly insulated pipes while trying to sleep. The listing said there was a coffee machine in the room, but there wasn't one. It was downstairs in the hall instead. The Wi-Fi worked, although the elevator felt a bit creepy. I knew the location wasn't ideal and wasn't especially surprised, particularly as a solo traveller. In the evening, the whole neighbourhood felt like that, as you can see in the video. I didn't feel safe and tried to be back by 11. I walked everywhere, around 17-20 minutes, and didn't use city transport, though bus 46 is an option. I booked at the last minute and took a chance. Thankfully nothing bad happened, but if you have another option, pay a bit more and feel at ease instead of worrying about getting back early.

Money went missing from my belongings during my stay. I reported it to the front desk right away, but didn't get the help or support I expected, and the hotel didn't treat the incident with the seriousness it called for. I felt unsafe and wasn't kept properly informed. I found the experience very disappointing and can't recommend this hotel. Be extremely careful with your personal items if you stay there.

The stay turned out much better than we expected. The place was nice and clean, and the mattress and pillows were good. There was no AC, and check-in gave us some minor trouble. We saw other people in the lobby having issues too, but overall we were pleasantly surprised.

The location is handy, about a 10-minute walk from both the station and the city centre, with plenty of local places to eat nearby. The hotel was fairly clean, which was about the only other positive. The room was very basic: no cupboard, tea or coffee setup, bathroom lock, or air conditioning, and no decent fan. Everything runs digitally, but the Wi-Fi didn't work at all and mobile data was poor inside. That made accessing the room and hotel really frustrating. There's no reception desk, staff on site, or customer service to turn to when you need help. The heat was the worst part. Our triple room had one small fan that did nothing to cool it, and we had several sleepless nights. We were told there were no extra fans or pillows. The pillows provided were thin and uncomfortable. It felt like the hotel just didn't care about its guests. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless things improve. The location can't make up for the lack of comfort and service.
