Dimitrovi Guest House

For about 80 lei a night in our money, I'd say it's good for a stopover. The host was welcoming and gave us coffee and water when we arrived. There's a pretty garden with sun loungers and a terrace with a stove if you want to cook, but there's no restaurant despite what Booking says. Our room was on what I think was the third or fourth floor, so there was a lot of walking. It had a small tube TV with Bulgarian channels, a little refrigerator, and a shower in the middle of the bathroom between the toilet and sink. You can see the sea from the window, but the beach is far and you'll need a car. There isn't much else to do in the village. The local customs around commemorating the dead felt sinister to me. Nearly every house, gate, tree, and pillar had posters of dead people, and the whole village seemed like a cemetery. I don't know where this custom comes from or what it means. I understand it's like this throughout Bulgaria.

We were happy with our stay. The landlord was kind and very attentive, and it's a quiet spot near the sea. The price is reasonable for a family. We'd definitely stay there again if we return.

It's peaceful here, with a lovely garden and everything needed for a pleasant vacation.

The people are kind, and the place is clean and nice.
