We managed four nights of the eight we booked, then had enough and stayed elsewhere. ROOM 103 was dirty, with pubic hair in the bathroom and on the hob, a musty smell, a very dark apartment, a shower door hanging off, and a toilet cistern that didn't work properly. There was just one dinner plate, and the terrace was a disgrace. The complex looked tired and badly run down, including the dark, never-cleaned corridors and entrance. There were no pool sunbeds. The place is said to be only 10 years old, but looks extremely dated. It's suitable only for stag and hen parties, and it's in Sunny Beach, not Nessebar as advertised. I can't believe owners charge £30 a night. Don't book, you'll be disappointed.

During my eight-day stay, the pool water was dirty and only seemed to be cleaned once or twice that week. Our room wasn't cleaned at all, and we went three days without hot water. The staff were awful, and I found the manager a complete liar and disgraceful person. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here four years ago on the all-inclusive plan, if they still offer it. The food was such a bad joke that we ate everywhere except at the hotel. I hope they've stopped offering all-inclusive. The room was spacious and had around 20 electrical outlets, so choosing where to plug things in could take a while. The beach is so far away that the long walk might keep you in shape. Best of luck!

There isn't a reception, and access to the buildings is by chip, which you get from the owners. Parking is awkward: you have to park on the street and navigate disagreements with locals about who should park where, since there are no rules or signs. This is an apartment resort rather than a hotel, with pools, and some apartments can be rented through AirBnB. It's mostly Russian-owned. The buildings are new and nice, though the style is a sort of new Russian rococo, so you have to like it.

The staff couldn't even bring toilet paper to my room. I waited three days for my shirts from the laundry because I needed them for an important meeting, and they still couldn't return them washed and ironed. If they worked at my hotel, they'd be fired within five minutes. What a shame.
