I came here because my boss recommended it for being near the hospital area, and as someone staying for health reasons, I found the lack of care especially upsetting. I’m paying for this stay, and hygiene, courtesy, and respect matter. Some receptionists are rude, bad-tempered, and unprepared to deal with guests. They don’t seem to care about guests with special needs, either. The rooms are far too dirty, and they don’t move the beds to clean underneath. There’s only one housekeeper for all the rooms. The shower stall is tiny and stained, and the bathroom smells because it gets so little ventilation. If a guest stays for a week, the room apparently won’t be cleaned if they’re still in it, and nobody even asks. The receptionist gets annoyed when we stop the housekeeper in the hallway to request cleaning. In other hotels I’ve stayed at, they make an effort for their guests and keep rooms spotless. Imagine a patient with low immunity having to stay in a dirty room. The health inspectors and other relevant authorities should check whether everything is up to standard. This is a consumer right.
